The volume of investment in Portugal’s commercial property market could hit an all-time high of €2bn (£1.7bn) this year, up from around €1.3bn (£1.1bn) in 2016, according to the Portugal division of Cushman & Wakefield.

The investment captured via the ARI (Authorization for Residency through Investment) , as the Golden Visa is known, has risen 11.4% in February, compared to the same month last year, siting at 99.5 million euros, but has reduced by 29% compared to last month (141,2 million euros in January).
